D. Installing the Hue Hadoop GUI

Hue (Hadoop User Experience) is a browser-based environment that enables you to easily interact with a Hadoop installation. Hue includes several easy-to-use applications that help you work with many of the Hadoop components discussed previously. Hue applications run in a web browser and require no web client software installation. The current version supports an HDFS file browser, ResourceManager interface, Hive, Pig, Oozie, HBase, and more. Hue works in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Internet Explorer 9 and 10 are also supported.
