Chapter 2. Don’t Just Sit There—Read a Script and Sit There
Before we all hop on the reading-app tour bus, I think it’s worth pointing out that many of the screenwriting apps I cover in Chapter 1 can also be used to read screenplays (assuming you have scripts in a compatible format, such as FDX or Celtx). However, screenwriting apps are far less likely to provide features that enhance the reading experience. And make no mistake, reading a script is an experience, or at least it should be.
