I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 5. The Director’s Toolkit
What’s in your director’s toolkit? Permit me to tell you what’s in mine:
• One roll of gaffer’s tape
• Two Sharpies (one black and one red)
• A ball-point pen that I fully expect to lose
• Mentos, preferably strawberry
• A copy of The War of Art by Steven Pressfield
• My iPad
• My iPhone
• Another roll of gaffer’s tape (you can never have enough gaffer’s tape)
