I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 7. Mount It, Mod It, and Mic It
When filmmakers first started using their iPhones as video cameras, it marked the beginning of the mobile filmmaking revolution. At that time, there was no support gear or accessories to speak of. Eventually, a few small companies and start-ups emerged offering one or two wildly innovative products that helped support the rapidly growing iPhone community.
As I write this, the revolution is now in full swing! iPhones and iPads are being geared up by some of the biggest names in the business. We’re seeing companies like Steadicam and Schneider Optics jumping into the mobile accessory marketplace. There’s even a rumored iPhone product coming from the production-gear giant Manfrotto.
