Letterforms and Guides
Learning rules, making rules, and breaking rules are essential parts of the lettering process. In this chapter, we’ll look at the rules that dictate how letters are traditionally formed and we’ll talk about how you can develop your own unique set of lettering rules without sacrificing legibility.
