In-line monitoring and quality control of flexible organic electronic materials

Abstract

This chapter describes the latest advances in the investigation of the optical properties of roll-to-roll (r2r) printed nanolayers for flexible organic electronics applications, as organic photovoltaics, by in-line spectroscopic ellipsometry (SE) in the visible–far ultraviolet spectral region. First, it focuses on the fundamentals of SE as well as on the aspects for its adaptation on r2r systems.
