The ubiquity of mobile devices is having a profound effect on our lives. We increasingly expect to be able to work, learn, and play whenever and wherever we want to, and even this contemporary snapshot of mobile technology is only a step on the way to ever more opportunities that will continue to unfold. For example, a new m-learning application called Spy Listening E.I.A presents several game missions, such as eavesdropping on the native speakers’ conversation as a spy. It is expected to convert boring English study to exciting, mobile game-based learning.
