Abstract:

This chapter builds on Chapters 2 and 4 and describes more advanced concepts, representations, procedures and graphical diagrams related to the analysis and design of heat recovery systems for both grassroots and retrofit situations. The grassroots case is extended to add more industrial realism, and to bring investment costs into the discussion.
