A3.1. Life-Cycle Assessment
Life-cycle assessment (LCA) addresses the environmental aspects and potential environmental impacts (e.g. resource use and environmental consequences of emission and waste releases) throughout a product's life cycle from raw material extraction through production, use, end-of-life treatment and disposal (i.e. cradle to grave).
