Abstract:
This chapter deals with plasma-wave-based detection of THz radiation with metal–oxide–semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs). Building on the general presentation of the subject in Chapter 5, the focus is now on room-temperature detectors and focal-plane arrays in Si complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology.
