Being able to publish a file or a directory of files in which their integrities are guarded by hashes is wonderful. Occasionally, however, you may want to be able to publish a dynamic file with the same link. What I mean here is that a hash link would generate different content at different times. One of the use cases is that you want to publish news. Depending on the situation, news can change every minute or hour.

The way you do that is by using the Interplanetary Name System (IPNS). The hash link is derived from the cryptography key in our IPFS node. When we launch the IPFS daemon, we become one node among many in IPFS peer-to-peer networks. Our identity is based on a cryptography key.
