After deployment is finished, multiple resources are created in our resource group and we can see Virtual machine scale set and a set of network-related resources. Network resources created are a Load balancer, Public IP address (used by the Load Balancer), Virtual network, and Network security group. NSG is applied on the subnet level and NSG rules will be effective on all VMs in scale set. This makes sense as all VMs are identical, are used by the same application, and have the same purpose.
