To start creating disaster recovery in Azure, we must start by configuring ASR in the recovery services vault. Three steps are involved:
- Prepare infrastructure
- Replicate application
- Manage recovery plans
After we select to Prepare infrastructure, a new blade will open. Here we have couple of options that we need to define. First, we need to select if we want to protect Azure or On-premises resources. As I want to demonstrate how to use ASR for migration, I'll select On-premises. The next option is to define where we want to replicate our resources, and the options available are Azure or another site.
