Visual effects

First of all, we need to know that most of the visual effects (VFX) in Unity are made with particle systems, native particle managers that allow the user to create different types of VFX.

There are different built-in particle systems in the Unity 2D Game Kit, and we can use them without any difficulties. We can find them by going to Assets | 2D/3D GameKit | Prefabs and opening the VFX folder.
