Instructions: This lab is based on the lab setup outlined in the introduction to this book. It requires that you have a basic Red Hat installation on host RHEL01 and RHEL02. You have 2.5 hours to complete this lab.
Task 1: On RHEL01, create a kickstart server and a DHCP server. Using this kickstart server, perform a basic installation (no desktop managers) on Client02.
Task 2: On RHEL02, implement the following:
• Create the directory /opt/server_data.
• Create a cron job that outputs the amount of free disk space in a file called data in the /opt/server_data directory.
• This script should run every day at 3 p.m.
Task 3: On RHEL01, configure an NTP server using GMT as the time zone.
