In the first part of this book we concentrated on incident response, which is a topic that allows for some variance and flexibility in approach even while still aligned to a published standard. As we shift to digital forensics in this part you’ll notice that the approach is much more structured, as the audience of the process changes from others within the umbrella of an organisation to outsiders such as the legal and law enforcement professionals.
