If extraterrestrials arrived on planet Earth tomorrow morning to study humans, they could be forgiven for thinking that we somehow need our mobile phones for us to remain conscious. In the smartphone era it is rare to find a person without a device in hand, or at least very close by at all times. I’m guilty of using my phone constantly, and you could very well be too.
