Box plotting

Often used in performing explanatory data analysis, a box plot is a type of graph that is used to show and understand the shape of a distribution, its central value, and its variability. Seeing a box plot for each numeric variable in our well log data will give you a better idea of the distribution of the input variables as shown in the following screenshot:
