Summary

In this chapter, we explored the various kinds of processors that are available in Reactor. You learned that the DirectProcessor is the simplest processor, but it does not offer backpressure. We then discussed the functions and abilities of UnicastProcessor, EmmiterProcessor, ReplayProcessor, TopicProcessor, and WorkQueueProcessor. In the end, we familiarized ourselves with hot and cold publishers, ultimately using UnicastProcessor to convert a Fibonacci generator into a hot publisher.
