Command line interfaces let us give direct instructions to our computer. From the command line, we can run programs, search files, create and delete directories, connect to the internet, and do much more. With two exceptions, the applications that we’ll create in this book are all designed to be executed from the command line. In this chapter, we’ll briefly cover the basics of command line interfaces.
