Deliverables, Plan, Change
We have seen that projects today are often large and complex, carried out in an uncertain and fast-changing world, and subject to many forms of execution risk. Failure to define what is (and isn’t) included in the scope of the project leads to unplanned or unnecessary work, schedule and budget overruns, or benefits that go unrealized. Failure to plan the project carefully, or the wrong planning approach, leads to rework and delays. Failure to precisely communicate the plan and address stakeholder needs leads to confusion about, and resistance to, the project.
