3.1 What is a studio to transmitter link?
Probably one of the most overlooked and neglected items in the path between the studio and transmitter is the studio to transmitter link (STL). The STL takes your programming from the studio location and delivers it to the transmitter site.
There are many different types of STL systems available. The most common types in use are:
