The most successful people I have known have balance in their lives. They have achieved an equilibrium that allows them to have a satisfying work life in the context of good health, a solid family life, good friends, and financial stability.

I see a recruiting assignment as a request for business equilibrium as well as a talent search. What is business equilibrium? It is the basic components of leadership that don’t change over time—a set of values that we need to keep in mind as corporate recruiters with a vested interest in seeking out the best business leaders we can find. I view certain qualities as essential to achieving business equilibrium:
