A wide range of online, electronic, and mobile tools are now available to help consumers manage their health and healthcare. Despite that the Internet plays a significant role in many other aspects of American life, including how people manage their finances, shop for goods and services, and even work, consumer usage of online and electronic applications to support their health and healthcare has yet to become mainstream.
