Abstract

Fundamentals of process and mechanical design of unfired and fired HRSGs are reviewed in this chapter. Included in the process design are basic energy balances for the building blocks of complex systems. The building blocks are basic systems such as evaporators, evaporators with economizers, and evaporators with economizers and superheaters.
