Heat Exchangers
Heat transfer takes place between two fluids in a heat exchanger either directly or indirectly. Many industrial applications such as power plants, process industry, refrigerators and air-conditioners, automobiles and space vehicles use heat exchangers. The heat transfer priniciples discussed in previous chapters are used in designing a heat exchanger. The design and selection of heat exchangers is discussed in this chapter.
