Multi Master Replication Manager (MMM): initial installation
Multi Master Replication Manager for MySQL ("MMM") is a set of open source Perl scripts designed to automate the process of creating and automatically managing the "Active / Passive Master" high availability replication setup discussed earlier in this chapter in the MySQL Replication design recipe, which uses two MySQL servers configured as masters with only one of the masters accepting write queries at any point in time. This provides redundancy without any significant performance cost.
