Transforming Data with Power Query
In the previous chapter we saw some of the ways in which you can find and load data into Power Query. Inevitably this will be the first part of any process that you create to extract, transform, and load data. Yet it is quite definitely only a first step. Once the data is in Power Query, you will need to know how to adapt it to suit your requirements in a multitude of ways.
The transformations that you can apply to the raw data are many and varied. They can include the following:
