BEHAVIOR-BASED INTERVIEWING, OR competency-based interviewing, has been used in some organizations for around forty years. Many organizations, however, continue to use a traditional interview format, which is sometimes interlaced with situational (also called scenario, hypothetical, or “what if”) interview questions.
