Well, here we are close to the end of the book. This chapter is divided into three sections:
• Values, Principles, and Practices
• Policies, Patterns, Processes, and Procedures
• Parting Shots
The first two sections provide some details on a way of thinking about how work gets done that ensures everyone is on the same page and operating simultaneously with autonomy and focus on what’s important. These sections also provide a structure for constructing the articles that describe the work system promoted by High Performance Operations that followers will create. The last of the three topics requires no special preamble.
