A Difficult Choice

“I know teams work. But I still am not convinced it is worth the time and effort to push further in the direction of making our Executive Office into a team. After all, we are pretty effective now, and it is not clear to me what or how much we gain by trying to develop more of the characteristics of ‘real teams.’ The essence of the issue is defining a set of team goals for ourselves as a group beyond dealing with the broad strategic and leadership issues of the corporation.
