Emerging markets are for investors of all sizes, but some of the greatest opportunities are for those who have the most money to commit. These private investment partnerships are designed for high-net-worth individuals, pensions, foundations, endowments, and other people and organizations that have a lot of money they can afford to lock up for a long time. The funds may have higher returns for a given level of risk, but they may be less flexible than other types of investments.
Think of these private partnerships as the VIP room of high finance. These investments can be a great way to get into a market big and early.
