Constellium develops and manufactures high-value aluminum products from alloy to finishing, focusing on the aerospace, automotive, and packaging markets. In 2016, the company's advanced innovation team recognized an opportunity to take advantage of cheap sensors and cloud technology to achieve greater knowledge and control over the manufacturing process, a project they called “Big Data.”
