In high-voltage practicals, the students are given the opportunity to extend their theoretical knowledge obtained in the lectures by conducting experiments on their own. The experiments can be performed either in small groups of 3 to 6 participants under the guidance of a supervisor, or as joint experiments for a large number of participants. Although group experiments require a large number of experimental setups, thereby imposing a limit on the voltage, they are to be preferred from the point of view of active participation by each member, since this is possible only in small groups.
