Jane: “Oh, he was great. Offer him a job.”

Sue: “Hey, wait just a minute. The first guy today wasn’t a guy, he was a woman. Well, she was a woman. You’ve got the candidates confused.”

Marty: “Um, no, I meant the first candidate yesterday—Jeff. I wasn’t so sure I liked him, but we need to talk about everyone, so let’s start with Jeff.”
