I READ A fascinating article on credit repair agencies. Originally, when people with a lot of debt came into the credit office, they were instructed to write down all their debts with the amount due, the interest rate, the due date, and so on. Logic would demand that the debt with the highest interest rate be paid off first, right? That seems like the smart money move. Interestingly, the failure rate of compliance with the repayment program was extremely high.
