Dual Hologram Interferometry with Enhanced Sensitivity

3.1  Applications of Mach–Zehnder Holographic Interferometry

In this section, some results of Mach–Zehnder holographic interferometry operating with low carrier frequency holograms applied to four different phase objects under investigation are discussed. Focused image holograms were recorded on photographic films having resolving powers of 100 to 300 lines × mm⁻¹. The carrier spatial frequencies of the holograms were varied from 20 to 50 mm⁻¹.
