We already mentioned that a key feature of a wireless network is flexibility. Although this additional flexibility makes wireless networking attractive, it does come at the potential cost of security. This doesn’t mean that a wireless network will always be insecure; it just means that you must take additional precautions to ensure that your wireless network is not an easy target for those who know how—and are willing—to take advantage of folks who don’t practice safe networking.
