Sustainable Business

Business sustainability has come a long way in the last 50 years. It has been building a gradual momentum with each passing decade. The argument for sustainability really began in the 1970s with the establishment of environmental regulations. However, in those days it had a peripheral focus. Today, it has become central and a strategic concern which is beginning to influence markets, thinking, and behaviors.

In the research for this book, 100 leading Industry players were interviewed and 67 percent noted that sustainability played a central role in their strategies.
