Preface

MANY OF US SPEND a good deal of our life working. We make friends at work, we learn about ourselves when we work, we grow and develop, and we become innovative, energized, and stimulated. Working cooperatively with others, we are able to create the positive energy that gives us joy and adds value to our companies. All of these wonderful human experiences can take place during the times we are engaged in work. I call these times Hot Spots. Hot Spots are places and times where cooperation flourishes, creating great energy, innovation, productivity, and excitement.
