Abstract
The field of change management has, as its basis, theoretical models for leading, implementing, and managing change. Such models tend to agree that organizations need to be readied for change, changed, and then reach a state whereupon change becomes institutionalized. The practice of change management, however, has been known to deviate from theory when the attempt is made to actually implement it.
