Measurement of the Progress for More-than-Moore and Beyond CMOS

Introduction

In the previous chapter, we discussed an innovative three-tier business model for the global semiconductor industry. We also observed how the various drivers for More-than-Moore and Beyond CMOS would fit into this innovative business model. The progress of Moore’s law provided a well-defined goal for the measurement of progress, thereby driving the progress of global semiconductor industry.
