How did you score in the friends section of the quiz? It may be that you have happy, supportive and equal friendships that never cause you a problem. But, often, being assertive with friends can be just as difficult and complex as dealing with different members of your family.

We assume that we can ‘be ourselves’ with our friends, but sometimes with friends we can find ourselves cast in a role that we no longer enjoy. Often this just means that we have settled into a pattern of behaviour that needs to be broken.
