I have already talked about performance coaching, and sports coaching is essentially a subset of this. However, I have given it its own section as it is sometimes not seen in this light – a mistake in my view.
Many top sports coaches are NLP trained, and NLP can help a sportsperson prepare for the mental aspect of the game, with visualisations, rituals and anchoring techniques.
