To sample an employee population, you need to ensure that the sample reflects the entire population. This requires consideration of the size of the total population, unique characteristics of any portion of the total population, and the method used to select the sample.

The size of your sample will determine how confident you can be that the results represent the entire employee population from which the sample is drawn.
