Monstrous Creatures
Monsters are the ultimate bad guys. The room always grows quiet when somebody tells a tale about a monster. Even the storyteller’s voice drops to a whisper. Go ahead and try it the next time your friends spend the night. Start talking about goblins—real goblins with fierce teeth, hidden lairs, and magical powers. Before long, one of you will get a cold, unexpected shiver. And don’t be surprised if you catch your friends glancing over their shoulders when the floor creaks out in the hallway.
