So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

How to complete application forms and on-line applications
What an imposition – you spend all that time writing your CV, spot an ad in the newspaper for a job that sounds perfect and you ring to ask for details. They send you an information pack and an application form. Why should you now waste time completing an application form?
There may be a temptation to fill in your name and address at the top of the application form and write ‘please see attached CV’, then ping your reply in an e-mail. BUT DON’T – you might get away with it, but you almost certainly won’t!
