I’ll guide you through the situation’s background, root cause, possible solutions, and the resulting outcome. The solution I’ve selected isn’t necessarily the best one, but it’s the one I thought would work best for the fictional Scrum team. Though the situations and characters are fictional, you will find that they will sound familiar and relatable. The goal of this appendix is not to tell you what to do if you find yourself in a similar situation—everyone’s situation is unique—but to give you material to reflect on and inspire you to come to your own conclusion.
