I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Deal with strategy
As a leader, at some point you have to deal with formal strategy. The first challenge is to know what strategy is. The word has become debased. It now means anything that the speaker thinks is important, as in a strategic review, a strategic investment or a strategic campaign. Even strategists disagree about the nature of strategy. In practice, there are two approaches to strategy that are worth knowing about: the classical approach and the modern approach.
Classical strategy
Classical strategy is a Newtonian world of action and reaction. At its heart is a belief that you can rationally analyse a business and prescribe what it should do in future.
