I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Motivate your team: practice
We have looked at what the theory of leadership says. Now let’s hear what leaders say about human nature and motivation.
First, in our survey of more than 1,000 current and emerging leaders, we found that both leaders and their followers identified the ability to motivate others as the most important quality of a good leader. The good news is that over 70% of bosses think that they are good at motivation. The bad news is that only 37% of their followers agree with them. There is a huge motivation gap, between what bosses and the followers think. This is a wonderful opportunity for you. If you can motivate your team, you will be ahead of your peers and respected by your team.
